Almost all Western governments have become a nanny state.
You can tell by their drive to control “societal misalignments…”
What you eat, how you work, and even what you are allowed to think.
We had a heavy dose of Nanny State tyranny during COVID when orders from the local health authority were gospel on the streets, in the grocery stores, and even at your local park.
(I remember walking out and seeing the toddler-size bucket seat swings two blocks away from our home wrapped with caution tape…)
Western governments manufactured such control during this timeframe that even its citizen became their own wandering police force…
If you weren’t wearing a mask neighbours alienated you on sidewalks of streets…
Guarded the entrances of grocery stores…
And sought to control the flow of information (the science).
Now, the things we think are what the world’s top AI CEO, Sam Altman, is worried about.
He said so at this week’s World Governments Summit 2024 in Dubai.

“Societal misalignments” could pose AI dangers, OpenAI CEO says
“…Altman was asked what AI-related fear is keeping him up at night.
“I’m not that interested in the killer robots walking on the street direction of things going wrong,” Altman said. “I’m much more interested in the very subtle societal misalignments, where we just have these systems out in society and through no particular ill intention, things just go horribly wrong.”

You essentially have a world where language is curated by the government.
You have a nanny that doesn’t tell you to…
not say the ‘F’ word…
or to stop hitting your sibling…
or to not play with the ball in the house…
You have a nanny who scolds you for using one word over another and even creates language you didn’t otherwise know.
Because that’s how you best care for a child…
