“I chose a lazy person to do a hard job because a lazy person will find a way to do it.”

During recessions, “business opportunity” schemes thrive.
That’s because when people are tight with money, they feel helpless.
They’re already forced to work in a crappy job to pay the bills.
Less people working in full-time jobs and more people working in part-time jobs only exasperates the average American’s feeling of helplessness.
So they are willing to spend money to make money.
These schemes include “start your own e-commerce store,” “how to buy and sell homes without ever spending a dime,” and multi-level marketing schemes like Tupperware, or Avon.
What isn’t told to buyers of these programs is this:
The internet is shrinking. E-commerce requires unique brands and product ideas to win.
Dropshipping one product at a time from China after marketing it on Facebook can only be done for so long.
Then you need another product.
Maybe the next one will work. Maybe it won’t.
In any event, it may be along time before a person can replace their income and get free of that job they despise so much.
Two years… Maybe.
And then there’s Wholesaling homes…
With so many people financially stressed during a recession, when things get bad, they think about selling their homes for debt relief.
That’s where some people see the opportunity to quickly write up a contract between a buyer and a seller, then get paid a hefty commission.
If a person succeeds, people get commissions in the thousands.
So, it’s pretty attractive, but you have to spend your time and money finding home owners all up front.
And then there’s the classic multi-level marketing schemes – the Tupperware parties, Avon, even sexy lingerie parties.
They’re the desperate woman’s “biz op” dream.
But the biggest opportunity being touted on YouTube, and other social media platforms like TikTok is… AI.
Since 2021, here’s the trend for people searching “AI Business” on Google:
It’s drastically popular right now.
So many people want the easy way to get rich quick:
But, the ironic thing is, if you were to ask ChatGPT itself how to get rich, the AI would tell you something much different.
- Educate yourself.
- Invest in assets that appreciate in value.
- Then consider starting a business.
That’s what happened when this person asked…
Now that talks of recession are starting to embed themselves in MSM content, we’re bound to see more interest in AI and other “biz op” schemes.
Here’s where we are now for people thinking about “recession”:
But, if you’ve been a reader for some time now, you know where the real opportunity lays – in gold and silver.
