After all, they all say the same thing.

But none of them want to repeat this…
PBS, NPR, and 1500 local broadcast nodes are shutting down.
All the reports I could find from the MSM were personal eulogies supporting the leftist narrative like this one…
But those closest to the deceased wrote the main narrative.
NPR reports:
Congress rolls back $9 billion in public media funding and foreign aid
“The House has approved a Trump administration plan to rescind $9 billion in previously allocated funds, including $1.1 billion for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) — a move that cuts all federal support for NPR, PBS and their member stations — and about $7 billion in foreign aid.
The vote of 216-to-213 included all but two Republicans in favor of the cuts. The bill goes next to President Trump for his signature.
Immediately after the vote, NPR CEO Katherine Maher issued a statement calling the cut an “irreversible loss” to the public radio system. She said the effect would be “an unwarranted dismantling of beloved local civic institutions, and an act of Congress that disregards the public will.”
The dismantling of America’s largest propaganda arm is not an “irreversible loss.” The CPB did not create shows like Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Berenstain Bears, or Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Individuals created them, and those individuals were voters in the US power regime.
The idea that public broadcasting defines American’s free speech is the surrender of thought to those in power.
It assumes whatever is being broadcast is what American’s think.
When in reality, it is actually the other way around.
The news is a careful curation of whatever Americans and others are creating, which apparently are America’s most trusted institutions.
Especially, the NPR and PBS.
On August 1, 2025, NPR reported:
Corporation for Public Broadcasting says it’s shutting down
“Despite the extraordinary efforts of millions of Americans who called, wrote, and petitioned Congress to preserve federal funding for CPB, we now face the difficult reality of closing our operations,” CPB President and CEO Patricia Harrison said in a statement.
“CPB remains committed to fulfilling responsibilities and supporting our partners through this transition with transparency and care.”
“Public media has been one of the most trusted institutions in American life, providing educational opportunity, emergency alerts, civil discourse, and cultural connection to every corner of the country,” Harrison said.
CPB informed employees that the majority of staff positions will be eliminated with the close of the fiscal year on September 30, 2025.
It said a small team would remain until January to “focus on compliance, fiscal distributions, and resolution of long-term financial obligations including ensuring continuity for music rights and royalties that remain essential to the public media system,” according to the CPB statement.”
While the CPB offices downsizes to the backwaters of a boiler room in Timbucktoo, Mississippi, a new corporate arm of propaganda emerges.
NBC whines:
Trump administration greenlights Paramount’s $8 billion merger with entertainment group Skydance
“Trump administration regulators have approved Skydance Media’s $8 billion bid to acquire CBS News parent company Paramount, paving the way for a tectonic shift in ownership of one of America’s three major networks.
The Federal Communications Commission said Thursday that it had approved the acquisition, with FCC Chairman Brendan Carr adding in a news release that the move would bring change to the company’s news coverage.
Paramount owns CBS, which includes CBS News.
“Americans no longer trust the legacy national news media to report fully, accurately, and fairly. It is time for a change,” Carr said.
“That is why I welcome Skydance’s commitment to make significant changes at the once storied CBS broadcast network.
In particular, Skydance has made written commitments to ensure that the new company’s programming embodies a diversity of viewpoints from across the political and ideological spectrum.”
“Today’s decision also marks another step forward in the FCC’s efforts to eliminate invidious forms of DEI discrimination,” Carr added.”
However much the new propaganda arm perpetuates the power of the new narrative it seems to be moving away from the destructive poison that is wokeness, and hopefully allow for the negotiation of a new America narrative.

It depends what one considers “news”. Rather than reporting the events of the day, to bolster ratings many “news” programs are actually “infotainment”: commentary on events, rather than the events and different viewpoints, when events are controversial. NPR/PBS offers news. The news (compared to editorials on the news) is often unflattering to the current administration. So, the current Propaganda Ministry has to eliminate any “news” that is not flattering. If BLS reports bad news, punish those in charge. If PBS reports this result as news, eliminate it. Tell the people what the adminstration wants the people to hear. Yes, the economy and dollar are strong, the rest of the world admires the US, and all children are above average. Whatever you want to hear. Bread and circuses.

If you trust anything coming from a new media outlet that was created after bribing the POTUS, you’re advice is on shaky ground. How much did Paramount pay out to Trump personally to ensure this merger went through?
It’s called a bribe. Grift. A violation of the Emoluments Clause.
None of our entertainment-controlled media is worth watching or reading. If you think Murdoch’s rags are any better, here’s your sign.
Generally speaking, progress tends to be liberal, which is what you’d expect from public broadcasting. It’s also supposed to be supported by “THE PUBLIC” and therefore, serve the public’s interests. However, as we’ve watched little by slowly, the government has cut funding because they can’t control the content when the public owns it. It acted too much like the free press our Founders intended.
As funding was cut, guess who stepped in to fill that void? Please take a look at their Donors list. It’s the Who’s Who of the right-wing oligarchy. They destroyed public media just like they destroyed legacy media. It’s all trash now, and that’s by design. Edward Bernays wrote the book on Propaganda, and that’s all that remains, so our so-called democracy now ranks around 28th in the world. Our military isn’t spreading democracy – it’s spreading oligarchy.
Yep, a lot of backdoor payments there.
This may be a swing to the right, but let’s see what happens.
