Unfortunately, violence will always be with us.
It can be reduced by making plans for peace, but it will never be completely eliminated—just like poverty and volatile markets.
The solution for poverty and volatile markets has already been tried. For the U.S. government, the first step was establishing a federalized central banking system, which they said would mitigate volatility in the currency markets from state to state. As the federal government grew bigger, so did the problem. Volatile markets and instability remained—except this time, not at the state level. It was happening at the federal level.
The Panic of 1907: When Confidence Collapsed
Then came the Panic of 1907. All it took was a few individuals attempting to own more than a majority of the shares in the United Copper Company to blow the system up. One wealthy individual, F. Augustus Heinze, a copper magnate, and his associates tried to corner the stock. They believed many traders had shorted it. If Heinze could buy up most of the shares, those short sellers would be forced to repurchase at whatever price he demanded. But the plan failed. There weren’t as many short sellers as they thought. Other banks and brokers didn’t support the scheme, and the stock price collapsed instead of rising.
The problem was that Heinze and his associates were deeply tied to New York banks and trust companies. When their scheme failed, confidence in the banks collapsed, which led to a bank run.
The point is this: when the problem gets bigger, governments create bigger schemes(invention and regulation) with bigger bureaucracies.
The Federal Reserve: A Bigger Solution for a Bigger Problem
In 1913, the Federal Reserve was created to act as a “lender of last resort” to stabilize banks during crises like the Panic of 1907. The Federal Reserve was to act as both an interventionist and a regulator. It was meant to stop volatility. It did—until it couldn’t. Again, the problem grew bigger. Prices fell because of deflation.
Here’s how it went:
-
In 1929, $100 might buy a cart of groceries.
-
By 1932 (after 25% deflation), $100 could buy 1½ carts.
-
If you owed $1,000, you now had to repay what could buy 15 carts of groceries instead of 10.
In real purchasing power, your debt grew heavier, which created another banking crisis. So, FDR’s solution was to confiscate America’s gold because people didn’t trust the banks and were “selfishly” hoarding it at home.
The result:
In 1934, the Gold Reserve Act revalued gold from $20.67 to $35 per ounce. This effectively devalued the dollar by about 40%—making U.S. exports cheaper abroad and raising domestic prices (fighting deflation). The increase in the government’s gold value gave the Treasury and Federal Reserve more backing to expand the money supply and inject liquidity into the economy. However, the problem continued to grow. Volatility reared its ugly head once again when countries started demanding gold instead of paper dollars. The Federal Reserve then did not have enough gold to back the dollar.
From Gold to Fiat: Nixon’s 1971 Break with the Standard
In 1971, Nixon removed the U.S. dollar from the gold standard. From then on, the U.S. lived in boom-and-bust cycles of the fiat world. The Federal Reserve and the U.S. Treasury have continued regulating and intervening in markets to this day, while the Money Bubble has grown larger and larger.
Unfortunately, for every intervention and extra regulation the Federal Reserve initiated, the problem has only grown larger and larger.
The same is true for violence. The more intervention takes place to maintain power—even at a global scope—the more violence is perpetuated. It is a seemingly endless cycle.
More Intervention, More Violence
Over the last five years, the gun control narrative has increasingly intensified with school shootings. Google Trends data shows the conversation peaking during each mass shooting. While the Left has continued to argue for stricter gun control laws, the Right has increasingly pointed toward the LGBT community as the epicenter of violence—specifically, transgenderism framed as a mental health issue.
However, over the last two weeks, the gun control narrative has been relatively silent. Why? Neither side can reach a consensus on who is allowed to own a gun. Each side attempted to persuade the other that they are not worthy of owning one. That’s kind of dangerous if you ask me. You don’t want to be on the side that’s not allowed to hold ’em…
Here’s how it’s going:
The Left took Charlie Kirk’s assassination as an opportunity to grift on gun control. By searching for quotes from Kirk, they could assassinate his character too. Here’s what a Google Trends search over the last 30 days on the phrase “gun control” reported: six of ten trending queries were looking for a reason to blame guns—and Kirk—for his own assassination.
Here’s what the leftist, UK-based Independent found. The quote is being repeated all across X:
Since 2020, some on the political Right have also been interested in what they should be doing with their guns. Several years ago, in the midst of (or just after) COVID lockdowns, before transgender mass shootings at schools and churches became the norm, Kirk’s advice was to exhaust all options for peace before taking violent action. No regulation or intervention on gun control was prescribed by Kirk until about two weeks before his death.
"When do we get to use the guns?"
Listen to Kirk's answer from 5 years ago. He was against violence, because he knew that's what the other side wanted.

The Left’s Push: Guns in the Hands of the State
The Left’s most extreme political advocates took the opportunity to repeat what they’ve been pushing for a long time: they wanted to take away the guns from opponents of big government. From their perspective, if guns are in the hands of the government through intervention, regulation, and control, peace on earth will arrive.
"I'm gonna push it."
Tim Walz has released his radical gun control wish list.

The Left’s answer to gun violence has been to increase state power. If the government intervenes, regulates, and controls all firearms, then everything will be fine. They say assault rifles, etc. But gun control could not have solved the problem of a young man borrowing his grandfather’s old rifle—the one used in Kirk’s assassination. All it took was one person and his associates, similar to the Panic of 1907.
The point is that violence will always be with us. Simply handing firearms over to the government only moves the potential for violence from one person to something much bigger.

“”Guns are dangerous.”
Yes, they are, and for all the right reasons.
If you shoot someone, they will either be severely injured, or die.
Or, if someone breaks into your home then you can defend yourself. Then again, if you’re a young woman walking the streets of Milan, Paris, or London a gun might be helpful too.
But unfortunately, there are a percentage of gun users on the wrong side of the tracks. They use guns to kill people.
For example, guns legitimized the formation of democratic governments during the 19th and 20th Century. So, governments use guns to kill people too. In fact, according to Bill Bonner in his book, ‘Mobs, Messiahs, and Markets: Surviving the Public Spectacle in Finance and Politics’,the number of public vs. private deaths is 10:1.
For every 1 person murdered one-on-one, ten died in war or some other conflict.”
Even when governments gain control of guns, murder shifts from private to public stakes. Governments defend their administrations by sending children to war. Fortunately, our government has not yet entered any world-shaping engagements.
The Gun Control Narrative is Collapsing in American Politics
Now, what is being revealed—in the midst of our Fourth Turning, in the collapse of narratives, and even in the narratives of the Political Left and Right—are the natural maxims of the world.
This maxim in particular:
Unfortunately, violence, like poverty and market volatility, will always be with us.
The Right’s Division: Advice from Kirk, Pam Bondi, and Transgender Gun Bans
Here’s how the gun control narrative is collapsing on the Political Right:
The Trump administration has been on track to control the possession of guns since Trump came to power. Since his election, Trump has managed to put together a ragtag group of individuals—some with left-leaning views, others living at the narrative edges of conspiracy theories. One of those people has been Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has been a gun control advocate from the beginning.

This has led to legislation regarding gun purchase bans on transgender people, because the Right considers all transgenderism a mental illness.
On September 4, less than a week before Kirk’s assassination, Breitbart reported:
Justice Department Considering Ban on Transgendered People Owning Firearms
“This legal question of banning firearm ownership for transgendered individuals would focus on whether these people suffering from gender dysphoria are in fact mentally ill and therefore should be denied firearm ownership while they are unstable and unwell.
It would be a major escalation to see the federal government curtail Second Amendment protections for a big group of people, but in the case of transgendered people it is a place that many believe makes sense, which is why some top conservatives, such as Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, have said the government should do this.”
Interestingly enough, Charlie Kirk supported Bondi’s legislation just two weeks before his death.
If you are crazy enough to want to hormonally and surgically "change your sex," you have a mental disorder, and you are too crazy to own a firearm.

On the Left: Antifa, Armed Queers, and Selective Gun Control
On the Political Left, gun violence is permissible only in certain circumstances. The most obvious example are the Antifa, which Trump has recently labeled as a terrorist organization. Then there are the other smaller, militia-like factions, radical left-leaning gun clubs. “Gays with Guns,” and other left-leaning gun clubs (including Armed Queers)have been rising in popularity for more than five years. While on the same side of the aisle, politicians like Tim Walz, and MSM pundits like Don Lemon still fight for gun control. Yet, they are unwilling to increase criminalization of violence in America’s bluest cities. A
And to increase the confusion a little more (narrative collapse)…
The NRA Twist: Supporting LGBT Gun Rights
According to the NRA, typically a right-leaning organization, support LGBT’s arming themselves and joining gun clubs as a natural, god-given right. However, in the MAGA movement, politicians aren’t saying the same thing. Trans people shouldn’t be allowed firearms.

A Self-Evident Truth: Violence Will Always Be With Us
The gun control narrative collapse is revealing a hard truth—what the American Founders might call a “self-evident truth.”
Unfortunately, violence, like poverty and market volatility, will always be with us. When you attempt to take away guns, you shift the potential for violence from an individual to something much larger. It is an act of coercion—arming one side while making the other more vulnerable.
Simply handing all firearms over to the government doesn’t solve gun violence. The only solution is to plan for peace with our words.
Free speech—just like listening—permits anything, and it has a strong influence on the outcome. It’s best to plan for peace in a world that will never be perfect.

This is a silly philosophical discussion (guns) of what is perceived to be pro-gun/anti-gun when in reality it is a distraction from the 2nd amendment to the Constitution. The Constitution and specifically the 2nd amendment exists for one reason only. That is, to prevent or to take back our government from the left when they decide to seize the reins of power permanently. It will also prevent mass murder and starvation like what happened in China and the USSR when the communists took over. It is obvious how much the left wants to ban guns. They like guns for themselves but not their perceived enemies. They are using them right now to take out the people who disagree with them. What do you think would happen in this country if they were successful? I’ll tell you what would happen. They would use the guns that they will authorize for government, but not the citizens, to kill anyone who stood in their way. It has happened over and over. Anyone who cannot understand this does not know history or is naive about what evil men are capable of. Vote out anyone who wants to compromise. They are not your friend.
Sounds like a bad rehash of history from 1913 thru the 1970s now being replayed again all at once. Deep State is banking on division, chaos, and economic collapse to take control of the country. President Trump is a reprieve at the moment. The mid-terms will be an indication of the direction the country moves. Gold, silver, toilet paper, and common sense will be the way to survive. Once the economy collapses and the grid fails, all bets are off and the Deep State will try to take over. Average citizens must be ready to fight back. The government is NOT here to help you. They want to enslave you. Out of the ashes, comes renewal. Be ready!
Good morning….nice work. The collapse of society is clearly at hand. When the left took prayer out of schools and took every opportunity over the past few decades to erase God and Christian principles from the public domain; along with it, they took away the foundational principles of the Judeo-Christian faith: the distinction between good and evil, right and wrong and acceptable and unacceptable behavior. In its place we got, anti-Christian, anti-colonial, anti-American, pro-marxist, race baiting, made up history and a litany of made up genders instead all being solidified by the internet and all its :fact-checky and thumbs uppy” wonderfulness Confusion. that’s what we got. How will this affect the economy? A confused and bewildered segment of society that outright rejects right as wrong and accepts wrong as right cannot prosper and will devolve into debauchery. They cant figure out whether they are a boy or girl.. So, of course you have confused young “men” wandering around in dresses fighting their imaginary war against….ummm…..oh right….Donald Trump and his supporters. Up is Down and Down is Up in their world. Fighting the right gives them an alternative to being at war with themselves instead of the systems that failed them, One need only look at Portland, OR (and dozens of other failed communist run cities in the US) just like the individual, are in complete disarray. Visiting a city these days, much like trying to understand the mindset of these damaged individuals, is a descent into hell A once beautiful, industrious, productive organism brimming with possibility brought to its knees and a violent conclusion, due to decades of the systematic corruption of the mind, the body and the spirit.
